SAMARIUM COBALT

Samarium Cobalt magnets have slightly lower performance than Neodymium.

The main advantages of using this type of magnet are three:

Excellent corrosion resistance

Excellent behavior at high temperatures (up to 350 °C)

As the temperature increases, its magnetic properties decrease more slowly than those of Neodymium

 

 

The use of Samarium Cobalt is not recommended when the magnets are subject to impacts, repeated contact, rubbing because it easily crumbles
